Using
two slices of your favorite bread, spread enough of American Maid Creamy
or Crunchy Peanut Butter to cover one slice. On the other slice, spread

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add a small box
of dry spaghetti or your favorite pasta to the water. Boil until the pasta
is soft (about 10 minutes). At the same time, bring 1 jar of American Maid
Spaghetti Sauce to a near boil in a saucepan and set aside. Drain the spaghetti
into a strainer, rinse with hot water and place in a large bowl. Pour the
heated American Maid Spaghetti Sauce over the pasta, toss and serve with
grated Parmigiano or Romano cheese.

for ribs is the classic American summer cookout favorite:
Wash and pat dry a 2.25 kg. rack of beef or pork short ribs. Sprinkle
the surface of the meat with salt and ground black pepper. Slowly cook over
an open grill or brazier until the bones begin to turn brown, while spraying
the surface of the ribs with beer about every 5 minutes. Brush on a thin
coating of American Maid Regular or Hickory Barbecue Sauce each time you
turn the ribs on the grill. Serve with extra Barbecue Sauce on the side.

A condiment that adds flavor to salads, sandwiches, hors dšoeuvres and main
dishes, American Maid Mayonnaise is versatile.
This recipe for Deviled Eggs is an American picnic favorite: Bring a
large pan of water to a rolling boil. Add 6 large eggs and cook them for
12 minutes. Drain the hot water and refill the pan with cold water. Keep
the eggs in the cold water until they have cooled, drain the water again,
and carefully remove the shells, rinsing the egg under cold water in the
process to remove any small pieces. Slice the eggs lengthwise and scoop
out the halved egg whites. Place the egg yolks in a bowl and add a small
spoonful of American Maid Mayonnaise for each egg and mix until smooth.
Add salt, pepper, and a spoonful of sweet pickle relish or minced sweet
pickle to taste, and spoon the mixture into the reserved egg whites. Sprinkle
with paprika and serve.

The classic garden salad is the stage upon which American Maid Pourable

Wash and drain a head of Romaine lettuce. Tear the leaves into small
pieces and place them in a large bowl. Wash, peel and thinly slice one carrot,
one celery stalk and four scallions, and add to the bowl. Wash and slice
three tomatoes and add them to the top of the salad. American Maid Italian,
Ranch, French and Thousand Island Pourable Salad Dressing on the salad to
taste and mix. Top with croutons before serving.

The Ice Cream Sundae is an all-American classic. Combining
the great tastes of vanilla, peanuts and chocolate or strawberry, this is
an irresistible dessert.
Place scoops of vanilla ice cream in a sundae dish. Cover with American
Maid Chocolate Syrup to taste, and sprinkle with a handful of chopped
peanuts. Top with a cherry.

In a bowl, beat 2 eggs.
In another bowl, mix 1 cup all purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder,
1/2 teaspoon baking soda and a pinch of salt. Add mixture gradually to eggs,
pour in 3/4 cup milk and beat until smooth. There should be no lumps in
the mixture.
Heat 1/4" of oil in a 20cm skillet and fry 1/4 cup of pancake mixture
at a time, spreading the dough with the back of a spoon. Fry until golden
brown. Turn pancake over and fry other side until golden brown. Top with
butter or margarine and serve with American Maid Syrup.
